Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

At GymPlateCalc, we do not require account registration to use the calculator. Any weights, bars, or plate inventories you enter are saved locally on your device through browser storage and are not submitted to us as account data.

2. Google AdSense & Advertising Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads, limit repeated ads, measure ad performance, and personalize advertising where permitted by your settings and applicable law.

Where required, Google privacy messages provide GDPR consent controls and US state privacy opt-out controls for AdSense advertising. Our site analytics banner does not control Google AdSense advertising cookies.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's advertising systems may process information such as your browser, device, approximate location, page views, ad interactions, and cookie or advertising identifiers.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

3. Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics

Ahrefs Web Analytics loads by default to help us understand site performance, popular pages, technical issues, and aggregate visitor trends. Ahrefs describes Web Analytics as cookie-free, not based on persistent identifiers, and not collecting or storing personal or identifiable data by default.

Google Analytics is separate and loads only after you accept the site banner. Google Analytics can use cookies or similar identifiers to measure page views, sessions, approximate location, browser and device information, and interactions with the site. If you decline, our consent component does not initialize Google Analytics.

4. CCPA & GDPR Privacy Rights

Under California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. Because most calculator data stays on your device, you can clear locally saved calculator settings through your browser storage controls. You can decline optional Google Analytics in the site banner. Where required, Google privacy messages provide controls for AdSense advertising consent and US state privacy opt-outs.
